Initially meeting on festival sites, Simon & Will quickly realised they were cut from the same cloth. Bonding over a shared work ethic, unstoppable drive & love of UK jazz, their continual joint workings soon led to a collaboration & the birth of BUCL (Bridge Unit Consultancy Ltd) in 2023.

Will -
Starting out as a stage manager for festivals in the North of England, Will uprooted and moved to London in 2014, transitioning into the dynamic world of live event production and brand activations.
Building on a foundation in set and staging, Will ascended to head up production for some of the UK's leading agencies and has since gone on to deliver award winning events and activations across the globe for some of the world's biggest brands.
Simon -
Swiftly deciding a degree in applied Chemistry was not for him, Simon chose to pursue his true love of music, turning a small part-time promotions company into a full time business.
A side venture of investing in artist transport (and receiving Scottish entrepreneur award 2006 from The Prince of Wales) gave Simon an insight into life on the road, mapping out the next 7 years as a tour manager.
Moving to London in 2014 saw the jump from tour manager to promoter rep for Live Nation & a few years later, SJM, then with festival seasons spent managing sponsors in the summer months.
10 years later, with the continual merging of artists & brands, BUCL is here to lead the way.
